The creative power of many

Leaders of innovative organizations are sometimes depicted as visionaries who single-handedly drive the innovative process. Yet as Harvard Business School professor Linda A. Hill and her colleagues show in their book Collective Genius: the Art and Practice of Driving Innovation, this isn’t actually the case. In this interview, Hill describes how highly successful leaders act as “social architects,” creating collaborative cultures where everyone is able to participate and have their voices heard.
